Apple Mac computers use the HFS+ partitions which are unreadable to the Windows operating systems. So if you format a USB pen drive using the HFS+ partition in your Mac, then it cannot be accessed in your Windows PC simply because HFS+ is not supported in Windows. Similarly, you cannot attach your Mac hard disk into your Windows PC to retrieve important data from it. But with the free Paragon HFS+ driver for Windows 8 / 8.1, it has now become possible to access the HFS+ formatted partitions in Windows without any problem. These HFS+ partitions open up in Windows just like any other partitions and you can copy, delete, read or write files on them like you would normally do on NTFS partitions.

The Paragon HFS+ for Windows 8/8.1 is a free HFS+ driver for Windows and comes in form of a setup file. During the installation, it asks for the a product key and a serial number. You can click on the Get Free Serial button to open a registration page where you can enter your name and email address to get the serial numbers. These serial numbers arrive in your email inbox and then you can enter them in the installation screen.

After the installation, a Windows reboot is required to load the HFS+ driver. After the reboot, you can attach any Mac formatted disks or media to your Windows PC. Unlike before when Windows refused to recognize these disks, now Windows will readily recognize these HFS+ formatted disks. You can right-click on any of these drives and select Properties from the context-menu to view the file system displayed as HFS Plus.

The Paragon HFS+ for Windows driver allows you to access Mac HFS+ partitions in Windows so that you can read and write files on these partitions without any problem. This makes it easy to transfer files between Mac and Windows PC easily through a HFS+ formatted USB pen drive.
